I have had a series of bad dreams

the past few times I have slept.

I haven't had dreams like that...

...to cause me to wake up praying, 

"Jesus, make it go away..."

...in a very, very long time.

The kind of dream that

makes you get up

and go to your children

and pray over them...

Disconcerting...

Heart-wrenching...

...but, then, thank God...

...it was...

...just.a.dream...

...the battery is going dead in this thing...

...and it's continuously beeping...

...which FREAKS my dog out...

...oh, the alarm company is sending a new battery...

((after I was on the phone with them...

...for nearly an hour the other night...

...on hold for the greater part of 50 minutes...))

...but who really knows when it will arrive...

...until then...

...my guard dog...

...will have to stop hiding under my bed...

Michael is going to StarTalk Academy

 this summer.

This is an advanced summer school 

for future foreign language students

of Chinese, Hindi, and Arabic.

It, according to Michael, is much like "school."

The kiddos are there Monday-Thursday,

9-3,

and they "work."

Today, we went on a field trip to...

...to say this was out of our comfort zone...

would be an understatement.

...FunAsiA is...

...a radio station...

...a banquet hall...

...and a Bollywood Movie theater, as well...

We got to see the movie...

"Koy Mil Gaya"

(wikipedia says that translates to: 

I Found Someone)

This movie was...

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

meets

Forrest Gump

meets

E.T.

meets

Mary Poppins

meets

Karate Kid

Yes.  Take all the elements from those movies...

and you get...

...Jadoo...

(magic)

The movie was nearly 3 hours long.  

With subtitles.

But.

Overall, the experience was worth it.  

It was...

...interesting.  

And the movie ended up being cute....

...a bit long...

...a bit replayed...

but...cute.

My Baseball Boy caught some kind of sickness...

...lung congestion...

and also

...slight ear infection...

...I took him to the doctor...

...he could barely sit up...

 ...then, while in the examining room...

...he could barely keep his eyes open...

...after I got his medicine...

 ...he laid back down on the couch...

...boo to summer sickness...

...but, it gets him out of Startalk Academy...

which, is basically advanced summer school

for future foreign language students

...and really...

...who wants to go to school...

in the summer??

There were two of them

and they have a
