#291/365--Pumpkin Patches Past

Sometimes
I feel like
...the only mom...
who
struggles so much
with
her kids
getting older

I am
so
proud
of my kiddos
and
am so
grateful for
the memories
we have made throughout
the years
and
it truly is
incredible
having adult conversations
with them

but
my heart aches
when I
see old pics

it's like
little pieces of my heart
walking around
outside
of my body

I just miss those
cuddly
snuggly
times
when they were
...a little more dependent...
on me

...today...
I am
treasuring
the
memories

#290/365--Apple Store

Michael's phone died
and
we spent
an
ungodly amount
of time
in and out
of
the Apple store
and
ATT
so
we took advantage
of all the
...technology...

#287/365--Drowning our Sorrows

The Rangers
...lost...
the ALDS
series
and
Mikey and I
decided
that we needed
...shakes...
to
help us feel better

#284/365--My Friend, Sarah

It was October 11,
my friend
...Sarah's...
birthday
and
I
missed it
...sort of...
There was a time when
our kids were younger
and
we had
...lots of time...
to
go out

hang out

enjoy happy hour

chill at Ranger games

but
as is
true of life
...it happens...
and
circumstances
that are beyond your
...control...
sort of
take over
and
we don't get to see each other
as often

however
our friendship
is one
that surpasses
time
and
is not dependent upon
how much of it
we spend together

and

when
we finally
get to hang out
...on those rare occasions...
it feels as though
nothing
has changed

My friend, Sarah
thoughtful
giving
heartful
creative
hard-working
observant
selfless
listener

Sarah,

You are more dear to me
than you know.

Your friendship means
the world to me
and the memories
we have created,
the bonds
we have formed,
the journey
we have walked,
will forever
hold a special place
in my heart.

I hope this year
is filled with
everything
you deserve;
that
all your hopes
and dreams
and wishes
are fulfilled!

Happy Birthday!

#283/365--Home Again

My LollilpopGirl
...was home again...
and
she brought
...a friend...
with her
and
we had pizza
and
watched movies
like old times

#281/365--You Can Never Have Too Many...

...Sunsets...

#280/365--More Surprises

Every year
our school district
holds
...Parent Conference Day...
on a Wednesday
and
although I enjoy
talking with parents

(especially because
this is the
...third year...
I've had these kiddos
due to looping with them)

it can be a little more
...tiresome...
than a regular day

Today
my people
(parents of kids in my class
who have become
my close friends)
brought me
surprises

...and then...
I got to watch
my own kiddo
...on the field...
...where he got
his first
...football injury...
which
is gross
...and a little bloody...
(so I won't post the pics)
but
thankfully
insignificant

#279/365--Surprises

I love surprises...
my cousin
...who lives in Indiana...
and
...who I rarely get to see...
sent a gift to me
and
...it was on my doorstep...
when I got home from school

#277/365--Playing Around

We watched
...the Rangers' Game...
at
Dave and Busters
and
the kiddos
participated in some
...friendly competition...
