our school district
holds
...Parent Conference Day...
on a Wednesday
and
although I enjoy
talking with parents
(especially because
this is the
...third year...
I've had these kiddos
due to looping with them)
it can be a little more
...tiresome...
than a regular day
Today
my people
(parents of kids in my class
who have become
my close friends)
brought me
surprises
...and then...
I got to watch
my own kiddo
...on the field...
...where he got
his first
...football injury...
which
is gross
...and a little bloody...
(so I won't post the pics)
but
thankfully
insignificant
